I wrote Pushing the Limits in 2015 after dealing with a lot of mental health issues and feeling very lost. Morgan & Aspenโs story isnโt a fluffy romance, it deals with a lot of grief, loss, and anxiety. But itโs one that I had to tell.ย This is an emotional and steamy student-professor romance that deals with grief, anxiety, loss, self-harm, and recovering from the guilt of losing a sibling. Morgan is a newly single-guarding taking care of his late brotherโs daughter and Aspen is dealing with years of grief after losing her twin sister.
When I got the audio rights back, I knew I wanted to get their story re-narrated, so I did some rewrites and got it re-edited before sending it off to the audio production company. Now, ALCs are in the wild and the feedback has me an emotional mess. I kinda forgot how special their story was and now Iโm re-living it again and that period of my life when I first wrote it.ย
